Muslim Association of Kirkland

An immersive, hands-on summer program for middle school, high school, and college students who want to go beyond using AI — and learn how to build with it like real engineers.

Over 2 intensive weeks, students will learn the foundations of AI, machine learning, deep learning, and large language models while building real-world projects in an in-person, collaborative environment.

They'll follow a structured engineering pathway covering LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI evaluation, agent systems, and product architecture — culminating in a portfolio-ready AI product.

✨ Students will leave with:

• A working AI product they built and demoed
• Understanding of modern LLM-based systems
• Practical AI evaluation & reliability skills
• Real-world engineering + product thinking experience
• Exposure to startup-style AI workflows

👥 Who Can Join

• Boys only, ages 15 and above
• Must be able to read the Qur'an fluently
• There will be a placement test to determine whether the student can participate.

This remarkable work is one of the most celebrated commentaries on the Forty Hadith tradition. The book explains fifty concise yet comprehensive sayings of the Prophet ﷺ that encapsulate foundational principles of Islam.

We are excited to invite teen girls ages 12–18 to join our new weekly halaqa, Heart of a Believer 🤍.

Each week features a different discussion focused on building the heart and character of a true believer, while exploring contemporary issues and the challenges young Muslims face today through the lens of Islam. Come strengthen your faith, ask questions, and connect with other sisters in a welcoming and supportive environment.
